Final Draft - Meatyard Series

In this batch of my Meatyard influenced photos, I chose to experiment with some of the backgrounds he used instead of just the figures. I aimed for a creepy, mysterious style, in architecture and lighting.

In this series I focused on lighting and trying to implement darkness in my photos, in order to resemble the work of Meatyard.

Portraits

In this project, I took a series of portraits. I had conversations with each person to make their expressions a certain way, which was a very interesting process.

Depth Photos

In this project I worked with the theory of depth in photography. I worked on using the lines as a mere background for my object while the object was my focus.

microworlds 2.0

In this project, I tried to extend my micro worlds, and enter new fantasies. I've aimed on making some pictures very real and others surreal in a cartoon or nightmare sort of sense.

In this assignment, I relied a lot on editing of my photos to capture a particular effect. For example, the picture with dragon was edited to capture lots of light upon the figures.

 In this photo shoot I tried to display the quadrants of photos and use their effect on a photo viewer. 

Repition Project

In this project I familiarized myself with finding depth in patterns, which helped me learn a lot of cool new techniques.
